We are looking for a Safety Manager Job Summary: The primary functions of a health and safety officer are to develop, monitor and implement the organization’s health and safety policy; to ensure the organization is compliant with health and safety legislation; and to reduce or prevent hazards, dangers and accidents. This role not only ensures the health and safety of the workers but also of the workplace, environment and general public. Job responsibilities: Ability to assess and record hazards and risks, organize and maintain all safety records, logs and similar and see that all incidents, including Near misses, are properly recorded, investigated, communicated and dealt with in a satisfactory manner, ensuring that the causes are ascertained and adequate steps taken to prevent reoccurrence, in regards to the company activities. Maintain safety awareness of active and developing situations. Ability to find out in each incident, the root cause, action plan, during internal response document the Hazard Analysis Process, Hazard Identification, exposure assessment, and controls. Bring to the attention of the relevant dept. heads unresolved occupational health and HSE problems. Investigating and reporting on all incidents, injuries, near misses and occupational health problems. Ability to make safety orientation for the new employees including company safety policy and safety procedure etc. Conduct safety awareness refresher training, tool box meeting and spot training with the employees. Ability to present HSE demonstration. Ability to correct the unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, Ability to prepare reports and procedure. Ability to lead the team in an emergency.
