SUMMARY: Assume responsibility for all day-to-day coordination of human resources support to manufacturing facility in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Responsible for supporting, advising, and guiding managers on employee issues, works closely with the General Manager and Plant Manager in the areas of recruitment, training, employee relations, and organizational development. Provide planning, development of policy, benefit creation/adherence, and analysis of employee information to better manage the employee side of the manufacturing division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Human Resources:
Responsible for supporting and managing all employee relations issues within the facility.
Oversee the recruitment efforts for approved positions by placing ads, obtaining candidates through other recruitment sources, and work with agencies in acquiring foreign nationals, and assist Government Relations Officer (GRO) in acquiring the proper visas and documents.
Lead the saudization program.
Assist in training supervisors/managers in application of employee policies and procedures.
Develop and coordinate job content analysis to determine proper staffing levels.
Be a source for employees to ask questions, bring up concerns and express opinions.
Be a source to provide conflict resolution between employees and management.
Prepare monthly payroll and related reports.
In coordination with the Regional Controller, assist in the processing of monthly payroll.
Ensure that benefits are provided as per the Companies guidelines.
Process any invoices and respond to questions as needed.
Maintain communication with vendors to ensure proper delivery of services.
Be the key driver of Performance Evaluation process.
Train supervisors and managers on the format, execution and strategies on the performance review process.
Train on proper delivery of performance expectations, objectives and feedback to employees.
Maintain and update market data on wages and salaries in KSA region.
Be an active member of Corporate Safety Committee. Provide support for all safety initiatives and communication efforts. Assist in development and delivery of supervisory/management training on safety initiatives.
Process all employment contracts and adhere to all compensation and benefit guidelines in a fair and equitable manner and as established by the corporate office.
Advise and interpret policies and procedures for employees and management. Review and ensure that employee manuals are up-to-date, comply with statutory laws and regulations, and maintained.
Participate in the bi-weekly call with Corporate HR.
Act as an advisor on all HR-related matters.
Assist Plant Manager in maintaining and updating wage grade levels in the manufacturing facilities.
Special Projects and other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Administration :
Manage all company rented accommodations.
Lease renewal, timely payment of rents.
Periodic maintenance of accommodation assets.
Creative employee welfare ideas.
Manage office administration related issues.
Business and vacation air tickets of all employees.
Develop and coordinate employee recognition events with management (e.g. picnics, holiday events, work accomplishments, service awards, safety recognition, etc.)
المهارات
SKILLS: Previous experience in Human Resources management in a manufacturing environment is required. Be fully knowledgeable of the employment practices and procedures. Previous experience as a generalist is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum undergraduate college degree is required; Master’s preferred, in the area of Human Resource, Business, Psychology. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate with and at all levels of employees in the Company is essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to create spreadsheets in Excel to report and analyze employee data is required. Able to read and understand salary information as well as manufacturing related information is required. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to work alone.
