Lab Supervisor (Caps & Closures Plant)

الوصف الوظيفي
JOB PURPOSE: To oversee, plan, organise and supervise the distribution and testing of feedstock, inter-mediate and final products to ensure all Caps & Closures plant products and specifications are met and complies with PCC quality standard Responsibilities Plans, organises and controls the measurement process of testing the quality of feedstock, intermediate and final products to ensure they meet the quality control standards Ensures all quality control testing instruments are accurately calibrated and maintained in order to adequately meet required quality levels Plans the allocation of laboratory staff to meet agreed quality control schedules of testing
Cooperates with operations, production and supply chain the frequency of the test sampling schedules of different stages of the operations process to ensure the feedstock and final products meet the agreed quality specifications based Ensures that all products, stocks are properly classified, labelled and safely packaged for transportation in accordance with plant regulations and guidelines Identifies adequate supply of quality control testing materials in the laboratory to carry out the required quality control tests Oversees the history of laboratory equipment failure and the efficiency of the process to identify whether any equipment needs maintenance and organises suitable corrective action through the preventive maintenance contractors Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement Complies with all relevant safety, food safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
