PURPOSE: SCOPE:This Job description shall apply to anyone who is assigned to this position irrespective of his grade in the Company. CONCEPT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: This position requires the incumbent to be knowledgeable about International Management Systems and possesses well-demonstrated skill to select and apply most beneficial standards across the Company. He should have business process know how and refined auditing skills to identify gaps in system development, implementation, and analysis and work as a self-motivated resource to drive the Quality improvement effort for enhancing its effectiveness. The position also requires skills to impart training on the Company’s Integrated Management Systems in accordance with the guidelines established by the International Standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS 1.Identify the processes necessary at the Corporate/BD/Project level for the effective implementation of Integrated Management System. Ensure the documentation of these processes necessary to the extent to assure their effective operation, and to bring them in line with the requirements of the International Standards that GAS subscribes to. 2.Provide information/feedback for the selection of appropriate International Standards for the company by understanding the Standards on the basis of Market best practices and Company’s products. 3.Plan and conduct audits and circulate audit summary reports. Maintain records of Audit Summary Reports and CARs/PARs and conduct proactive follow up for the closeouts of the same to ensure compliance within committed target dates. 4.Develop and maintain process-based IMS Audit Checklists. 5.Manage Company’s CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) systems to ensure that Root-Cause Analysis is performed and all CAPA activities are completed within timely basis. Coordinate with other departments to implement and monitor effectiveness of CAPA. 6.Monitor the Objectives framework’s implementation Company-wide. Ensure that process-owners are made aware of the requirements of developing and monitoring processes in a Management-by-Objectives approach. 7.Recommend quality techniques to the Auditee / process owners for continuous improvement and support BD/Projects in ensuring the effectiveness of the selected management systems and develop schemes to improve upon the processes and products. 8.Share various improvement schemes based on Project Assessment Audit Reports, Observations, PARs and CARs for the effective implementation of IMS with BD/Projects. Analyze the Document Change Requests and share recommendations for improvement with the concerned functionaries. 9.Develop the Monthly Executive Report for ‘The State of QUALITY’ by collecting data from Projects and analyzing it using quality tools. Incorporate Management suggestions and continually look into more innovative and effective ways to improve upon the quality of data for the defined objectives 10.Support BD/Projects in the manpower and training needs with respect to Quality Assurance and Control processes |
