الوصف الوظيفي Prepare patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjustingimmobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjustingequipment controls to set exposure factors. Monitor patient during and after procedure for patient’s safety and to gain patientcooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment;answering questions. To make sure that the room is clean, tidy and ready forthe next patient at all times. Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing warm up or preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; reporting malfunctions to supervisors; calling for repairs; maintaining equipmentrecords/inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques,using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding. Maintain safe and cleanworking environment by complying with hospital and departmental procedures,rules, and regulations. Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;anticipating needed supplies; making sure that placing and expediting orders for supplies was put in place.
