Overall responsibility for ensuring the operations and logistics for multiple injection molding (IM), injection blow molding (IBM), and/or extrusion production lines. The Shift Supervisor will ensure activities such as machine operations, feedstock loading and conveyance, warehouse and finished product activities, regrinding operations, and associated utility system operations (chilled water, air, etc.). This is a working supervisor position and you will physically assist your employees where needed to ensure plant operations are carried out in a safe, efficient manner.
They will follow and enforce all safety, manufacturing, and quality procedures. They will ensure production line Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) standards are followed.
The job holder is responsible for all active product lines/cells depending on production cycle times. They will follow all operation procedures. They release each production line to the IM/IBM or extrusion operator to manufacture or continue production. They verify that the line is maintained in a clean and neat working order. Each Shift Supervisor is responsible their shifts production. They verify all Q.A. before the Q.A. auditors review the production samples and report. They may support multiple conversion plants in Jubail, Saudi Arabia as required.
Internally works closely with plant management, production engineers, maintenance technicians and operators. Ensures all Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules are followed.

Five years of hands on experience in the operation of plastic process production equipment including at least one of the following processes. Injection blow molding, injection molding or extrusion machines. Working knowledge of Plastic processing.
Training in the proper operation of blow molding, injection molding and extrusion machines systems in manufacturing plants. Experience with plant safe work practices associated with the operation of blow molding, injection molding and extrusion machines. Specific training in the use of close tolerance measuring devices (Dial indicators, Calipers, Micrometers, etc...) Specific training in proper documentation, start up, shutdown and packaging procedures and techniques. Supervision course.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Proficient in MS-Office and Excel. Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Good working knowledge plastics processing equipment in general.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a IM. IBM, extrusion position. Working knowledge operating or maintaining blow molding, injection molding and extrusion
