SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Manager oversees and manages all supply chain operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization’s supply chain needs. Activities are related to strategic and tactical purchasing of packaging and locally produced raw materials, planning requirements, scheduling, inventory control of raw materials and finished goods, warehousing, shipping and receiving. Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of the supply chain process. Collaborate with multiple-functional managers to plan and execute production scheduling of all finished goods and to enable seamless deliveries to customers. Plan and manage domestic and international logistics and transportation. Manage and monitor vendor’s qualification and performance to ensure they meet company’s requirements. Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensure that department milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Lead the Supply chain function, identify process improvement opportunities, incorporate lean methodology and problem solving tools, in accordance with best practices.
 Participate in weekly meetings with the corporate purchase team, where trends and specific issues are brought up for resolution.
 Monitor forecasts and changes in sales orders to determine their effect on supply chain activities and take appropriate actions.
 Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, and quality assurance.
 Lead the sourcing and planning of raw and packaging materials.
 Ensures full utilization of SAP system to manage the material flows in MRP and PP planning and logistics functions.
 Material Requirement Planning using SAP system.
 Long Term Raw Material projection and planning using Sales Forecast and budget
 Prepare optimal production schedules by working closely with the plant manager and production manager to optimize manufacturing efficiency, while considering the financial impact and customer satisfaction.
 Ensure scheduling tool is effectively used, and production schedules are made available to the production team timely.
 Manage raw materials and finished product inventories to target levels.
 Identify opportunities to reuse materials to minimize consumption of new materials and minimize waste. Work with technology and sales to work off aged inventory.
 Responsible for inventory record accuracy, cycle counts throughout the year.
 Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
 Negotiate transportation contracts and freight rates with carriers and services with Freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize distribution costs
 Manage warehouse, shipping and receiving operations
 Actively manage, and ensure that all import and export related documents are up to date and available on time, Chemical Permits are updated, HS Codes are updated in the system, and rigorous follow up on the duties exemption refund from Saudi Customs Authority.

المهارات
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
 University Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering, Supply chain, Commerce or Business discipline.
 10-15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years of management experience
 Working knowledge of MRP and PP in an SAP Environment
 Certification (CPIM) by the American Production & Inventory Control Society is a definite asset
 Training/Certification in Six Sigma, KAIZEN or Lean Manufacturing (TPS) highly desirable

 Ability to operate and navigate Microsoft Office software and SAP systems
