Process Design Engineer

providing technical inputs and guidance to design and project execution teams in the water & wastewater treatment projects. Shall have knowledge of water chemistry, concept design, plant level water balance, applicable technologies and equipment selection, equipment sizing criteria, in water & wastewater treatment. Key focus areas include Raw water treatment, Potable water treatment, Cooling water treatment, Demineralized water treatment, Desalination, Softening plants and wastewater treatment.

Process Design Engineer Responsibilities:

1.  Leading Process design work to agreed scope and within agreed time and budget.

2.  Undertaking and leading process calculations and process modelling, development of PFDs and P&IDs;.

3.  Develop, coordinate, and deliver detailed process design

4.  Define technical treatment process (technology selection, sizing, etc...)

5.  Direct the work of drafters and designers, coordinate with other disciplines

6.  Assist with design and planning for water and wastewater treatment projects, including evaluating alternatives, and performing preliminary/detailed design

7.  Conduct engineering analysis, identify the problem, develop solution methodology, seek, and engage quality control/quality assurance, develop alternative solutions•

8.  Supporting our Commissioning, tendering, and bidding teams and processes

9.  Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with other disciplined engineers, project leads.

10.  Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of developments in water and / or wastewater treatment technologies.

المهارات
Process Design Engineer Requirements:

1.  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environment Engineering

2.  Computer Modeling Skills, Simulation software of Sewage treatment plant & Hydraulic Modeling capabilities

3.  Experience in the design of water and / or wastewater non-infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design including development of piping and instrumentation diagrams, control philosophies and detailed process calculations,

4.  Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, liaising directly with Clients and other project team members,

5.  Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic.

6.  Strong Mathematical and Analytical skills including use of MS Excel,

7.  Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Process Design Engineer Experience

1.  10 years of Experience in delivering process elements of design on small, medium, and large water projects,

2.  Independent self-organizing tasks and supervising others with minimum supervision
