Project Director (PMC)- Airport

· Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the project.

· Ensure client requirements are clearly understood by all company personnel involved in the project

· Oversee the management of project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

· Ensure compliance with project objectives, scope, and key performance indicators.

· Engage with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure their requirements and expectations are met.

· Monitor and manage the update of Projects’ Master Schedules (PMS) and budgets related to construction costs.

· Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery within allocated constraints.

· Implement a comprehensive Project Management System, applying best practices and standards.

· Sustain the quality of the Client Projects service throughout the duration of the PMC Contract.

· Provide design management services and technical assistance framework to the client.

· Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management, providing recommendations and mitigation plans as necessary.

Other Requirements

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

· Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management,

· A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale airport projects from inception to completion.

· Strong leadership skills and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.

· PMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable.

· In-depth knowledge of ICAO, FAA, IATA, and GACA regulations and standards.

· Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.

· Experience in risk management, contract administration, and procurement processes.

· Fluency in English, with knowledge of Arabic being an advantage.
