Role purpose:
Develop and implement the sales strategy for B-IT in line with company guidelines, policies, and procedures. Ensure sales targets are being met.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Identify target clients and potential sales opportunities and develop short- and long-term strategies for attracting and retaining members and maximizing sales
Analyze monthly sales and business development performance in order to identify any deficiencies and recommend corrective measures to management as required
Develop and implement call center policies procedures and strategies to align with company objectives
Manage the sales budgeting and forecasting activities in order to set sales targets based on volume and value of sales
Define monthly/quarterly performance targets for Sales team, Customers and Brands to monitor their performance against these metrics
Work with strategic clients to find ways to increase sales in order to boost the company’s growth and profitability.
Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers and partners in fitness in order to facilitate valuable partnerships with the aim of growing the business
Manage relationships with key accounts and clients in order to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling
Attend important global events and fitness shows to create, implement, and execute plans that help grow the business
Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Reporting unit to manage the sales budgeting and forecasting activities in order to set sales targets based on volume and value of sales
Establish Sales standards, requirements, policies, and procedures for the Sales in order to ensure the expected level of quality is met and maintained in alignment with B-IT guidelines
Assign sales targets to sales staff in line with overall company objectives.
Oversee the maintenance of a log of complaints in order to analyze the data and identify trends
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulate and lead the effective execution of the Sales plans based on the Company’s strategy in order to ensure seamless operations that facilitate the achievement of the strategic objectives
Ensure the timely provision of data and reports to the leadership and recommend operational improvements in order to support in planning, decision making and continuous improvement
Ensure the timely provision of input to the reporting Units, in line with the approved governance process, to ensure that reporting Units requirements are reflected in the overall strategy
Monitor monthly and quarterly performance results, identify performance gaps and ramifications, and lead the development of corrective actions that tackle the root causes
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Consolidate all reporting unit’s financial input to formulate the Sales Section budget and submit to leadership for approval
Manage the allocation of budget across the Sales section to ensure complete adherence and highlight any deviation from the plan in a timely manner and take corrective action as necessary
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulate workforce planning reports and talent acquisition plan and budgets for the Sales Section to ensure adequate staffing for optimal operational smoothness, and submit to the leadership for approval
Set performance management objectives for all reportees and perform year end performance reviews. Monitor performance and give ad-hoc advice when necessary to ensure that performance objectives are met
In coordination with the Human Resources Department, identify talent for pivotal roles from a succession management standpoint to ensure business continuity
المهارات
Experience & qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent with relevant specialization(s) in Sales from a recognized academic institution.
Minimum 9 years of experience with 5 years in a leadership position preferably in fitness related industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent with relevant specialization(s) in Sales from a recognized academic institution.
Minimum 11 years of experience with 5 years in a leadership position preferably in a fitness related industry
Knowledge & skills:
Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP), Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) or equivalent certification is preferred in order to ensure sales targets are met.
Proven ability in managing and motivating small to medium sized teams
