Responsibilities
Issue items as per requirements from the departments
Follow up with Procurement Department to check status of purchase requisitions
Submit original copies of goods receipt note, invoice, to Finance Department
Process entries related to receipt and issuance of material in the system
Periodically check inventory levels and update the Store Supervisor to ensure adequate supply of materials to serve requirements of all Departments.
Coordinate with Procurement Department as per instructions of store supervisor to ensure correct purchase orders are generated against purchase requisitions
Ensure that copies of goods receipt note, invoice, are submitted to Procurement Department
Update system for all transfer of material and receipt of stock
Coordinate movement of materials received at camp store area to stores in the port premises
Validate the goods on arrival from the suppliers and in case of any discrepancies report the issue to Store Supervisor
Periodically conduct inventory check, count, report to store supervisor in case of discrepancies
Record Number and nature of accidents. Ensure safety principles are followed
Responsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work area
Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standards
Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices
Ensure compliance with HSE policy
Reporting accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures
المهارات
Qualifications:
Background in procurement, inventory management/material management function
Education :Mandatory: Higher Secondary (12th Grade), Preferable: Diploma
Intermediate English
Computer Skills: Excel
