Looking for a Director of Maintenance with the following requirements:

Basic Functions:

Should fulfills the requirements of GACAR § 121.45 (b)(3) and meets the

qualifications of GACAR § 121.49 (c).

Exercise operational control over company aircraft maintenance activities.

Administer and control the timely delivery of airworthy aircraft that meet regulatory requirements and company standards for safety and aesthetics. Also, responsible for planning and reviewing all maintenance policies and procedures and overseeing their implementation.

Specific Responsibilities:

Signing for and receiving Operations Specifications Parts D and E, and requesting amendments thereto.
Ensuring maintenance of company operated aircraft is in accordance with the procedures and policies of the GMM, the applicable GACA regulations, manufacturers’ standards, and industry best practices in order to assure safety, maximum reliability/availability and economical maintenance costs.
Ensures that all instructions pertinent to safety are properly observed by all personnel under their jurisdiction.
Developing and maintaining a close and harmonious working relationship with designated representatives of the GACA.
Responsible for the direction and guidance of Maintenance Administration and Maintenance Control.
Developing, evaluating, and implementing maintenance policy standards and procedures for the growth and stability of the PrivatAir Saudi Arabia Maintenance Department.
Approving the selection of new personnel for the Maintenance Department.
Assuring proper training and orientation for the maintenance team members in company aircraft and related technological subjects.
Attending appropriate technical training and industry meetings to maintain professional currency and proficiency.
Ensuring currency of the airman certificate held.
Developing, evaluating and implementing the yearly Maintenance Department operating budget and the yearly aircraft maintenance budget.
Negotiating and approving aircraft fleet maintenance contracts.
Approving work scopes for major maintenance, modifications, inspections and refurbishments.
Processing the Special Flight Permits through Quality Manager.
Processing the MEL Extensions through Quality Manager.
Ensuring contractor/maintenance provider invoices are accurate and approving invoices.
Ensuring PrivatAir Saudi Arabia aircraft aesthetics are maintained to high standards.
Performing other duties as assigned by senior management.
The Director of Maintenance has the authority to delegate his duties as necessary, although this does not relieve him of the responsibility.
