الوصف الوظيفي ● Cleaning, repairing and maintaining all parts of the boat or vessel. ● Reading through repair and installation orders to determine the material, time, and equipment required. ● Scraping away old paint, barnacles, and debris from vessels. ● Removing and replacing rotted or rusted sections of the vessel. ● Constructing replacement parts using drawings, saws, and various hand and power tools. ● Testing engines, propellers, steering, and navigational equipment. ● Mixing and applying paint, wax, and gel coats. ● Liaising and consulting with the supervisor and other relevant professionals and vendors. ● Testing and ensuring the stable performance of marine engines ● Examining and troubleshooting any issues in the electrical systems ● Undertaking minor repairs of ship engines ● Performing electrical AC system maintenance and plumbing repairs ● Repairing or replacing damaged/worn-out engine components ● Maintaining accurate and detailed service records and documents ● Analyzing motor performance and identifying malfunctioning signs ● Visiting docking stations to inspect vessels ● Conducting operational tests ● Changing oil and filters and other components during maintenance checks ● Adjusting carburetor and water tanks for smooth functioning ● Using hand tools for repairing generators and adjusting electrical systems ● Determining the effectiveness of cooling systems using thermometers ● Fixing hydraulic systems المهارات • On-the-job training • Recommended Skills: Possess an understanding of mechanical devices, tools, and marine technology • Knowledge in the MTU engines تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/saudi-arabia/jobs/marine-technician-4485498/ |
