Senior Specialist - Carbon Reduction and Environment

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Devise and implement Environmental management system in-line with ISO 14001 and DP World Global office requirements.
Devise and implement Energy management system in-line with ISO 5001 and DP world Global office requirements.
To devise and implement different assurance tools relating to environment and energy management.
Modification, maintenance, and management of above said systems in good health, ensuring compliance with system standard and DP World Global office standards.
To formulate range of strategies keeping in mind DP World Global office 2050 vision and DP World Jeddah 2025 plan.
Creating any associated system documentation to ensure adherence to the standards.
Preparing plans, presentation, strategies as required on regular intervals relating to EMS and EnMS.
Leading and participating in different internal inspections, audits for environment and energy management.
Attend the meeting with HSSEQ manager / AM HSEQ to represent HSSEQ department as required.
Devise environment and energy management KPI’s, Objectives in-line with ISO and DP World requirements and its reporting to the management as per advice from line manager.
Coordinating with third parties as required for different matters (e.g. environment, energy surveys, assessments, monitoring etc.).
Prepare and submit any environment or energy reporting to terminal management / Global office management.
Coordinate with teammates, departmental coordinators and others on environment and energy matters and or as assignment by the line manager.
Follow up on environmental initiatives, projects, and action items to comply with requirements and to close any non-conformances.
To undertake any relevant environmental studies, impact assessments, management of EIA register, its implementation, and actions accordingly.

المهارات
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Experience in Environmental function in heavy engineering, energy, utilities, and supply chain
o Preferable: 5 to 9 years

Experience in Senior Officer capacity
o Mandatory: 2 to 5 years

Experience in the Port & Container Terminal preferred
Master / BS degree in environmental engineering / sciences/management, and environmental certification such as NEBOSH environmental certification and or diploma level or equivalent + ISO Lead Auditor EMS.
