Ensure accurate data entry, verification of data and bookkeeping in order to timely process all accounting transactions as well as developing financial reports/analysis, managing the accounting systems and executing of accounting operations, in line with international financial accounting standards, Azad properties policies and procedures and local legislation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate data entry of Azad properties accounting and financial reporting systems to provide timely consolidated reports that meets business requirements.
Ensure that accounting data and systems are maintained per generally accepted auditing standards.
Support and contribute to the preparation of VAT and tax submission statements on regular.
Contribute to preparation and archiving of financial statements for accounts receivables and accounts payable (AP/AR) recording of revenues, expenses, commissions, etc. as well as conduct data entry and account reconciliations for periodic closing of accounting books to monitor Azad properties performance against expected revenue, profit, ROI and cash flow.
Compile and analyze critical financial and ad-hoc reports to ensure accurate reporting and timely dissemination of information to key stakeholders on Azad properties financial position to support the decision-making process.
Ensure the documentation of all accounts records, books reconciliation and accounting activities to ensure the accuracy of working papers, analysis and results.
Maintain Azad properties document management, information systems and procedures to facilitate timely retrieval of accounts and records for auditing processes.
Ensure that of central accounts (payment, contract, accruals and related transactions) are treated appropriately according to internal and statutory controls, as well as appropriate international standards.
Ensure the timely and accurate cost allocation of all transactions/payments to the respective functions, as well as the timely updating and communication of all payments, to support the accurate and efficient cost control.
Monitor the fixed assets accounting for Azad properties capitalised and non-capitalized assets through creating data for the assets to facilitate tracking and ensure all entries, and amortisation calculations are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that the accounting process is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other relevant fields (preferred)
Four to Seven years of experience in a similar accounting role
English and Arabic: Advanced
