Sales manager will be responsible for leading sales teams to reach sales targets. This role will manages rental sales of new and existing AWP/MEWP product lines where technical knowledge is required in such areas as scissors lift, boom lifts, etc. and provides excellent dealer support.
Key Responsibilities
Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members. Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed. Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts( Complete expense reports, sales reports, or other paperwork.)
Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Participate in and initiate sales and marketing campaigns to meet company short-term and long-term business plans, strategies, sales expectations and new product introduction that improve brand image, drive volume and ensure customer satisfaction.
Establish dealer distribution network in assigned region by contacting new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs.
Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain product specifications or applications.
Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
Attend sales or trade meetings or read related publications to obtain information about market conditions, business trends, environmental regulations, or industry developments.
Study and understand markets, customers and economics for product lines and report changes needed to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
Consult with management regarding technical problems with products, specific market research,
innovative solutions and identifies opportunities for product differentiation.
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
5 years of experience in sales
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
Excellent leadership skills
Experience setting sales goals
Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office
