Quest Search & Selection are delighted to partner with this Saudi-based group of companies that are involved in Retail, Food & Beverage and Real Estate. This role is with one of their global retail brands focusing on non-food retail and technology.
This role is for a Senior Buyer Electrical to help with the selection buying of the electrical products for the global assortment to make sure that the range is for the localised market.
Your responsibilities of this Senior Buyer Electrical position
• Manage supplier performance and reviews of the Category
• Introduction of new international suppliers/brands that fit within the category brief
• This will include forecasting volumes, range and number of SKU s
• Supply and demand planning
• Negotiate and monitor terms with suppliers with both UK and localised suppliers.
• Getting customers feedback from customers and the Insight team
• Drive sales and profit in line with operating plan budgets
• Maintain sales and profit according to budget within a short, medium and long-term business plan
• Issue and review purchase orders.
• Forecast sales and budget.
To be successful in this Senior Buyer Electrical position
• 4-5 years + Category Management or Buying experience within a branded retail, background .
• Intermediate excel inexperience
• Analytical & data focused in decision making
• You must have experience working in electrical product categories including TV, Smart home products, home, Computers and tablets etc
• Have a Bachelor s degree or above
• Operated at a Buyer/Senior Buyer or Buying Manager level
• Great stakeholder management experience
• Has experience or exposure to global retail brands.
