الوصف الوظيفي The Technology Consulting specialist plays a major part in IT customer’s educational needs and designing training materials on IT solutions. This role acts as a link between information technology and business customers by managing and ensuring the successful completion of business analysis tasks. This position requires well-rounded experience and ability in multiple disciplines within IT including, but not limited to business communication, business analysis, and knowledge transfer with IT personnel and customers. Scope of Work ▪ Designs, creates, develops, customizes, and maintains training materials and resources to deliver agreed outcomes, and meet accreditation through design, configuration, and testing of training environments, including the creation of simulated data, and replication of external systems, interfaces, and assessment systems. ▪ Plans and schedules the delivery of IT training activities. Customizes formal and informal training activities, incorporating relevant business scenarios and case studies. Designs appropriate environments and deliver learning activities to specialist audiences. ▪ Maintains, publicizes, and promotes a catalog of IT learning and development activities. Arranges facilities and schedules with learning and development providers as appropriate. ▪ Participate in special assignments that require a special set of expertise to be involved, as assigned by the CIO. ▪ Helps with the yearly IT Open House and other special events as required. ▪ Must have the flexibility to support other IT activities and projects across the university, research, and economic development. ▪ Performs other related duties as assigned. ▪ Plans, schedules, and monitors work to meet time and quality targets. ▪ Rapidly absorbs new information and applies it effectively. ▪ Maintains knowledge of developing technologies and their application and takes some responsibility for educating and driving awareness of such products. المهارات Technical Skills: ▪ Excellent knowledge of appropriate standards, methods, tools, and applications for designing training and marketing materials. ▪ Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas by working with a wide range of media and graphic design software. ▪ Ability to combine art and technology and create visually appealing material and posters to communicate IT announcements. Non-Technical Skills: ▪ Works under general direction within a clear framework of accountability. ▪ Exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy. ▪ Plans own work to meet given objectives and processes. ▪ Influences customers, suppliers, and partners at the account level. ▪ Communicates fluently, orally, and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or other quantitative disciplines. • Familiarity with PMI or ITIL methods, and process mapping tools.
