Job purpose

The incumbent holds the responsibility to perform merchandising activities as assigned by the supervisor with highest possible efficiency.

Responsibilities

Facilitate in delivering sales targets by performing merchandising activities during daily visit to assigned route plans.
Carryout activities following and applying Merchandising fundamentals and Standard “Steps of a Call”:
Inventory (Shelf & Backdoor)
Replenishing stocks
Implementing Brand Plan-O-Gram
Implementing brand block in optimal location within the category
Ensuring Brand “Fair Shelf Share” as per the contract
Deployment of Secondary displays (If needed)
POSM Placement
Product Pricing
Photo of execution
Record on PDA’s with 100% Accuracy
Ensure Product & Shelf cleanliness
Guarantee stock rotation on FIFO basis
Ensure superior implementation of secondary display during any monthly initiatives
Reporting any Competitive activities
Follow up with sales team counterpart on OOS situations
Report to direct manager any in-store discrepancies (Pricing, shelving, availability etc.) and resolve if possible.
Participating in stock rotation between outlets
Other:

Carry out additional relevant tasks as advised by the direct supervisor.
Follow all BCR safety instructions and procedures and report any safety hazards or near misses immediately to the safety officer.
Adhere to all BCR policies and procedures.
