Budgeting & Planning:
Sets the yearly training and development budget based on SANS’ strategic training needs and in coordination with
the Talent Management Manager and the Finance team
Develops the training and development plan based on the needs assessment
Training Delivery:
Identifies internal trainers who are able to assist in developing and delivering training programs within SANS
Sets the quality standards and selection criteria for training providers and external trainers
Sources training venues and negotiates rates for conducting external workshops
Training Evaluation:
Measures employee satisfaction rates with existing and new training providers
Coordinates with line managers to facilitates on-the-job training implementation for trainees
Monitors post-training performance data to generate training ROI analysis
E-Learning:
Leads the adoption of SANS’ e-learning system to ensure continuous on-demand training
Leverages SANS’s e-learning system to create blended learning courses for cost optimisation
Evaluates the possibility of transitioning recurring instructor-led courses to e-learning courses
Program Development:
Develop corporate training programs in coordination with internal subject matter experts
Reviews and updates corporate training programs to ensure they remain up-to-date
Metrics & KPIs:
Identifies relevant metrics and implements them across all training processes
Leverages HRIS technology to track and monitor KPIs
Analyses training KPIs and makes recommendations for improving operations
Implements a data analysis framework to isolate the effects of training
