Job Summary
Responsible for the project billing process including client set up and maintenance and subcontractors invoice processing.
Tasks and Duties
Contribute towards the formulation of the strategy, budgets, annual business plans, and policies & procedures of the Project Accounting function to support departmental and institutional business strategy
Ensure the development and maintenance of all Project Accounting policies and procedures and processes ∙ Ensure that the function’s performance is meeting the agreed budget
Ensure that the Project Accounting processes within Freyssinet are operating effectively and efficiently towards achieving high operating standards
Ensure maintenance of highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and integrity in the provision of services in the Company
Create and reconcile subcontractors accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts
Process payment requests for subcontractors to ensure accuracy of accounts
Ensure to generate payment upon payment certificate prepared by the concerned department
Investigate and resolve claims with subcontractors to avoid any misunderstanding that might cause a problem with the accuracy of accounts
Communicate with the finance department to allocate payments budget and payment methods
Effectively communicate with Project Managers and Principals-in-Charge, regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing
Provide year-end support of auditor requirements, which may include research and reconcilement. ∙ Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required
Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors as and when required

Educational Background
Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Languages
Fluent in English and Arabic
Related Work Experience
About 3-5 years of related experience of which a minimum of 4-6 years should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a construction industry
