Heavy Duty Driver

الوصف الوظيفي
A heavy-duty driver is needed that can drive heavy and light-duty vehicles to work at our factory in the third industrial city (Modon 3), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The job tasks are provided below:

1.  Delivers goods and materials to assigned destinations and customers using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks (approx 8-tonne fixedbed), and/or light trucks (approx 3.5-tonne fixedbed).

2.  Maintains the vehicles used and immediately reports any unusual condition.

3.  Ensures the safety of travel and protection of goods.

4.  Ensures the safety of documents accompanying the delivery.

5.  Whenever needed, secures proof of receiving the deliveries.

6.  As directed, collects cash or checks from customers.

7.  Immediately reports to the plant manager any incidents encountered on the road.

8.  Makes sure to adhere to driving rules and regulations.

9.  Performs loading and unloading activities as necessary.

10.  Provides support to the overall operation of the plant by performing other functions as may be required.
