Role Objective:
Management of all personnel issues related to the staff and manpower in line with the company’s market and growth strategy.
Ensures that all personnel issues are dealt in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, government regulations and laws, and internal guidelines and instructions.
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities and initiatives based on the employee engagement calendar/survey.
Manages all administrative issues related to office space, staff accommodations and labor camps in compliance with the company’s policies, government regulations, labor law, and management requirements.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC
Actively participates in the manpower planning process, together with the General Manager and the various Department Heads to ensure the required human resources (quantity and quality) are available as and when needed.
Ensures that training and development activities are executed according to identified individual training needs, overall company directions and legal requirements.
Manages Company social events, CSR activities as well as Employee Engagement activities.
Manages monthly meetings with the “Labor force committee” at labor camp.
OPERATIONAL
Responsible for day-to-day management of all employee related issues.
Leads the recruiting process of required human resources according to the approved plan and in coordination with the relevant departments. Ensures qualified employees are available when needed.
Manages all administrative requirements related to company’s medical insurance coverage for employees and ensures that claims are internally processed without delay.
Manages the performance management cycle for all employees as per company policy and procedure.
Plans the annual department budget (office and labour camps), covering the full range of activities and services of the department and ensures adherence to the approved budget.
Acts as the link between employees and management for sensitive issues and grievances, ensures fair and equal treatment for all employees while protecting the rights of the company.
Manages the activities of the Public Relations Officers (PRO) and Government Relations Officers (GRO).
Coordinates the annual leave planning process for the organization at the beginning of each calendar year and maintains records.
Supports Corporate HR in enhancing HR related policies and procedures on regular basis or based on project assignments.
Ensures that all employee related data entries are completed timely, accurate,with all necessary details in line with internal policies and procedures.
Prepares periodical reports as required and ensures timely and accurate submission.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Responsible for the training and development of staff in the Personnel and Administration division.
Ensures development, review and improvement of his/her relevant division/department’s process and procedures.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
