Purpose of the role:
To develop new business opportunities in HORECA & QSR channels. To open new customers, such as Hotels, Restaurants, Hospital, Amusement parks (Horeca) & popular events happening across the region. To open new outlets as per the business plan.
a. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial
b. Achieve the budgeted sales or revenue targets
c. Review regularly and monitor customer wise sales history. To review the newly opened customer sales and make plans to achieve the minimum estimated sales.
d. Increase the sales from the existing customers consistently year on year
e. Expand and increase the number of SKUs sold with each customer
f. Keep a track of all new and prospective customers in your specific region and ensure we open the accounts
g. Keep a track of our competition and inform proactively to the managers and ensure we come out with creative action plans to increase our market share
h. Ensure collection as per the set credit period timelines
Customer
i. Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
j. Contact prospective customers and present the brand, make sales calls and close the business deal.
k. To have consistent follow ups with the potential customers to start the new business.
l. To visit minimum 8 outlets in a day.
m. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
n. Maintain regular trade contacts through visits.
o. To collect market information during market visits and to report it to the reporting Manager
Internal Business Process
p. To prepare the complete universe data of HORECA & QSR in the region
q. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure first delivery happens on time.
r. Arrange prompt delivery of the stocks to the new Bulk outlets.
s. Using the mapping techniques regularly to tap new & developing areas.
t. Study competition and propose actions to counter any effect on our business image
u. Monitor competitors and their activities and provide timely updates / feedbacks to the team / management
People
v. Communicate with co-workers, management and clients in a courteous and professional manner
w. Engage and motivate the reportees and ensure they are trained on the GICC standards
x. Create a pool of good talent who can be groomed for the next level
