General Ledger Accountant

Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
Quarterly balance sheet and P & L Fluctuation Analysis
Monthly expense variance analysis
Consolidation, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting.
Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and compliance to internal policies
Manage Fixed Assets
Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
Handling VAT records and GAZT returns filing on a periodic basis
ERP implementation team member
Interface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, IT and legal.
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Professional certification like (CMA, CPA, CA) is a plus.
Strong technical accounting background.
Minimum of 4 years of work experience in managing accounting books, preferably in steel fabrication or construction industry
Will demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of the proper accounting treatment for all business transactions from an audit standpoint
Must have experience and be able to demonstrate proficiency with ERP applications as well as Microsoft Office software.  BAAN and MS Dynamics experience a plus.
Should be hands-on, be a self-starter, disciplined, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast paced and high volume environment that requires uncompromising accuracy and timeliness.
Have well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills
Have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Should exhibit strong People service skills when dealing with customers, Supplier and company personnel at all levels
