Electrical/Mechanical Technician

الوصف الوظيفي
- Install, assemble, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment’s and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. - Connect cables and wires to electrical components like transformers, circuit barkers and others. - Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment’s and fixtures using testing devices such as multi tester. - Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. - Perform all preventative maintenance duties to equipment. - Continually monitor machinery and make necessary adjustment to ensure proper operation. - Perform all levels of welding and mechanical repairs. - Repair and possible fabrication of conveyors and component parts. - Proper use of all welding and cutting equipment related to all phases of metal fabrication and repair. - Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem - Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. - Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards. - Complete all paperwork and/or electronic updates as required. - Determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it - Work in coordination with engineers and other technicians when working with complex devices and circuits. - Advice management in whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. - Ensure quality, health, and safety procedures are followed. Education: Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to electrical/mechanical technology. Experience: Must have extensive knowledge in Electrical & Control Systems of process-related machinery including PLC’s. Experience in maintenance and repair of machinery in a manufacturing setting. Must have 1 to 2 years of cable manufacturing industry experience.

Good command on English and/or Arabic.
