• Assist Senior Officer-Stores in preparing the departmental budget
• Maintain inventory levels and order points to ensure adequate supply of spare parts and materials to serve requirements of all the departments
• Identify fast moving and slow moving items and maintain inventory levels (minimum, maximum, re order levels) for different items, especially Consumables, Lubricants and Filters.
• Ensure that Purchase Requisition is forwarded to Procurement Department after checking inventory levels in stores.
• Ensure that periodical inspection/checking of spare parts prior to inventory and routine checking of daily issued parts.
• Ensure that material requirements forwarded by technicians are approved by Engineers.
• Coordinate with Procurement department to ensure that Purchase Orders are generated against corresponding purchase requisitions and make follow-up.
• Ensure that copies of Material Receipt Note, invoice, are submitted to Procurement/Finance department
• Update system for all transfer of material and receipt of stock.
• Coordinate movement of materials received at camp area to stores in the port premises with procurement and camp stores.
• Monitor the material issued and check work orders generated by optimization team
• Validate the receipt and issuance of fuel on daily basic.
• Entry of daily fuel consumption in system
• Prepare budgets based on consumption over the last 2 to 3 years
• Plan, monitor and analyze MIS reports
• Provide regular process control checks and initiate and support performance improvement activities
• Perform periodical scheduled performance review with reporting personnel
• Responsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work area
• Record Number and nature of accidents in the store. Ensure safety principles are followed
• Ensuring good relation with vendors
• Responsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work area
• Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standards
• Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices
• Ensure compliance with HSE policy
• Reporting accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures
