As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading TPA across the MEA region. We are currently seeking to hire an IT Manager with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Your Job
· Manage the effective achievement of the IT department objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximise overall performance and team motivation.
· Deliver training to existing and new staff members in order to improve their knowledge and ensure their professional development.
· Plan, lead and ensure day to day management of all IT operations of the assigned Med Net, application program development, hardware/software development and user support to facilitate uninterrupted operations of the Med Net, ensuring compliance to the corporate IT strategy.
· Discuss user requirements and understand changing operational needs so feasibility studies can be conducted to review suitability and viability of corporate systems and develop proposals for IT projects in order to ensure that the IT infrastructure continually supports the needs of Med Net operations.
· Act as the local expert of the core business applications; solve any related user queries via system analysis within the corporate guidelines or forward complex issues to the corporate IT for prompt remediation.
· Ensure effective implementation of change requests to facilitate changing business operations
· Ensure that all business applications, networks, access control devices and hardware are operated and maintained cost –effectively and meet agreed level of service standards for user and business needs.
· Lead the implementation of standards, protocols for data exchange, communications and interconnection of information systems as per established corporate IT guidelines and thereby ensure the maintenance of an information technology environment which provides a high performance computing framework.
· Liaise with all Med Net group companies in the event of regional projects in order to ensure effective execution of initiatives in accord with quality and corporate guidelines.
· Manage various IT hardware & software projects in all project stages in order to ensure project objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
المهارات
Your Profile
· Bachelor Degree in IT
· 6 years in a similar environment in the TPA / medical insurance sector as well as 2 years of managerial experience, preferably in the GCC region.
· Knowledge related to Knowledge of IT trends and developments, Project management and cost management, Ability to operate effectively with people at all levels of the business and Negotiation skills
· Advanced data analytical skills
· Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills
· Knowledge of local insurance laws & regulations.
