Reporting to : Purchasing General Manager
Scope of Job :
To make preparations to such an extent that necessary decisions would be made with respect to matters to be discussed at General Purchasing Meetings(GPM). To send necessary documents to participants one week in advance of GPM.
To find best sellers and to persuade them for best purchasing conditions on the strength of company’s purchasing power.
To ensure that products ordered by Area Companies are shipped with agreed-upon quality and within the agreed-upon periods of time.
To act in strict compliance with DUKAN Purchasing Policy General Principles and procedures in every activity conducted. To ensure a good cooperation among all divisions in every activity to enable the company to achieve better results and successes.
المهارات
University graduate
• Less than 40 years old
• Residing in Jeddah or ability to move to Jeddah
• Transferrable Iqama
• 10+ years experience in well known supermarket chains at their purchasing departments.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Category manager
• Having deep knowledge about product categories, promotions, negotiations with vendors and agreements.
• Fresh product category experience is a Plus.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft office)
• Ability to travel based on job requirements
