الوصف الوظيفي
• Perform or be an active part in surgery including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries
• Perform veterinary dentistry including dental radiography.
• Determines nature of disease or injury by examining dogs and cats.
• Restores health by treating animals surgically.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, such as radiographic or ultrasound equipment, and interpret the result
• Advise animal owners regarding sanitary measures, feeding, medical conditions, treatment and general care necessary to promote health of animals.
• Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
• Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
• Inoculate animals against various diseases such as rabies and distemper.
• Collect feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.
• Educate the clients about diseases that can be spread from animals to humans.
• Train and supervise workers who handle and care for animals.
• Euthanize old and terminally ill animals.
• Establish and conduct quarantine and testing procedures that prevent the spread of diseases to other animals or to humans, and that comply with clinic policy.
• Conduct postmortem studies and analyses to determine the causes of animals’ deaths.
• providing suitable paperwork for animals traveling abroad, as well as inserting identification microchips
• Perform administrative duties such as staff quarterly evaluations, documenting recommendations, reporting violations.

المهارات
• Veterinary Surgeon (Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in small animals)
• Bachelor degree in veterinary medicine
• Licence to work as Vet
• Presentable
• Good communication skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Problem solver
• Decision-making
• Customer service orientation
