Oracle Database Developer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Database Developer will work in an Agile development environment with a team of Java Developers, QA, and product owners to support the client’s business applications relating to Umrah & Haj. The Database Developers will be responsible for the designing, implementing and contributing to the application development in an Oracle RDBMS environment. The Database Developer will also participate in database application tuning.

• Analyze User Requirements and translate into database requirements
• As a member of the web application development team, create Oracle stored procedures, packages, triggers, functions, etc.
• Develop and deploy scripts to create objects in Oracle database (tables, views, indexes etc.).
• Write, optimize, troubleshoot, and tune complex Oracle PL/SQL code and SQL queries.
• Learn the business value of various datasets and create data validation reports.
• Deliverables to be error free while meeting requirements
• Create Technical Documentation
• Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects
• Innovative approach with focus on continuous improvement• Manage workload effectively to meet timelines with good quality.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relat

المهارات
• Minimum 5+ Years of experience
• Good knowledge of Oracle PLSQL, SQL
• Must have at least 3+ years’ experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL Development
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including tuning
• Good understanding of Data warehousing.
• Must be a good team player, self-motivated, possessing good inter-personal communication skills
• Good analytical and problem solving & documentation skills• Oracle Certifications
