JAVA Developer ( JEE )

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Java Application Developer is responsible for designing/developing/configuring the functionality for Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) applications.

• Develops and maintains JEE applications; JSF, EJB, JPA, CDI experience
• Provides operational support for existing JEE applications
• Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains applications and application enhancements
• Develops and adheres to standard AGILE methodologies to produce project results that are measurable and delivered on time and within budget
• Develops and adheres to team project standards for development including tools, platforms, methodology, and controls to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency
• Prepares detailed software specifications and test plans
• Provides technical documentation updated to the latest enhancement or release
• Assists in reviewing the current technical architecture, including design patterns and development
• Assists with defining and meeting business requirements
• Serves as project leader for small initiatives
• Works with various business units and other IT units for their configuration/development needs
• Provides guidance to less experienced programmers• Effectively reports on application development

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

المهارات
• 5+ years’ experience in application and web systems development
o 3+ years of experience with JSF, EJB, JPA, CDI
o SOAP and REST frameworks
o Oracle Database skills (SQL / PL/SQL)
o An application server (such as JBOSS); and
• An integrated development environment (such as Eclipse)
• Very good knowledge in styling and themes, knowledge in CSS, HTMLS, JavaScript, etc. is highly recommended
• Strong communication skills with ability to document and troubleshoot problems and communicate with business and technical personnel at all levels
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;• Sun Certified JEE Certifications
