الوصف الوظيفي This position works in tandem with other services as a team , comprising of diabetes educator, clinical nutritionist and Podiatrist. As in-charge of paediatric Department, he/she will be responsible for administrative oversight within his/her department, i.e. clinical specialists, residents and nurses. The endocrinology team provides comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, which include conditions such as obesity, diabetes and thyroid disorders. The team is also responsible for preventive management of pre-diabetic clients. المهارات Specialty Certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes like MRCP (Endocrinology), or Board certification by the regional boards like Saudi Board, American Board or equivalent A minimum 3 years working experience in paediatric endocrinology in a reputable hospital or institution after acquiring the tertiary degree. Should have adequate knowledge and skills to manage paediatric patients with insulin pump. Eligibility to obtain and maintain professional registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as ‘Paediatric Endocrinologist’. Overseas candidate may be required to undertake a qualifying examination (prometric) as mandated by the Saudi Commission.
