PROJECT MANAGER EXP ON LARGE SCALE GIS SUBSTATIONS

We are looking a PM with exp.handling on large scale GIS Substations for one of major EPC Saudi company located in Riyadh wich operates in Energy Field ( large scale transmission and Generation projects) . Our PM will be responsible of managing for the control, planning, organizing and safe excution of all activities of the project,
MAIN DUTIES:
Main Duties:
• To read carefully the contract conditions, scope of work, payment conditions, technical specifications, and define the outline of his project.
• To schedule, in coordination with planning department, all the project works and activities, showing the duration of each activity, the work-flow between activities and the critical path of the project.
• To arrange with the design and civil department all the design works of the project, to submit them for the client approval and do the follow up until IFC drawings are issued.
• To act as a link between the site and the other departments and suppliers. To arrange the design, delivery, supervision of erection and commissioning with the suppliers.
• To issue the monthly progress report for the client and bi weekly report for the internal purposes of the company showing the progress up to date, delay { if any} and difficulties which affect the critical path of the project
• To arrange all the site works with his site manager, to supply him with the approved drawing, to explain him the priorities and the company policy and strategy
• To measure the performance of the site and interfere to correct or adjust any circumstances that may affect the productivity of the site staff. To check regularly the time schedules and the deadlines, and adjust the situation improve or make a recovery plan in order to avoid any delay
• To coordinate the project cost records with the financial and administration departments to control the project expenses. To supervise the invoicing of finished works and the follow up of payments
• To assure the quality of the executed works
• To guarantee the safety on the site

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE.
Requirements/Experience
• Bachelor in Science, preferably in Electrical Engineering plus certificate/proven experience in PMP
• Extended experience in project management of EPC in GIS or OHL respectively of a similar size (400 kV GIS)
• Fluent in English
• Advanced time management skills: able to prioritize, to respect deadlines, to organize the work
• Strong leadership skills: able to lead people, to organize, to motivate, to apply disciplinary rules when needed, to promote the efficiency and productivity in the team
• Result oriented mainly in time, cost and quality
• Able to design rules, procedures, methodologies, and to ensure they are learnt and applied by everyone
• Problem solving ability
• Flexibility, ability to adapt to changes.
