Job Title: Assistant Manager, Legal Affairs
Reporting to: Deputy General Manager
Location: Jeddah
Major Job Responsibilities- but not limited to-:
Register trade marks inside & outside KSA, follow up their expiration and re-registration and make the necessary arrangements and procedures to overcome disputes and problems associated with trademarks.
Monitoring the work to ensure the accomplishment of all projects and assigned responsibilities for the office.
Maintain excellent knowledge of pertinent laws, rules, and regulations affecting the company operations inside & outside of KSA.
Prepare, review and maintain the company contracts and agreements. Initiate, propose, review and endorse legal and working documents and new legislation.
Provide sound advice, judgment, counsel, and support to company administration and key staff on all legal matters.
Respond to requests for information on legal issues and provide answers, opinions and recommendations
Identify areas of legal risks and prepare necessary measures to rectify similar situations.
Represent the company in disputes and cases at different legal authorities inside the KSA and act as main liaison and coordinate activities with out side entities, providers and customers on legal issues.
Identify and resolve legal problems, review decision and recommend solution and remedies.
Monitor the implementation of settlements, agreements and legal judgment.
Perform all other related/assigned duties
Required skills:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in handling legal matters.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent command of spoken & written English is required
• Presentable and has professional attitude
• For non Saudis transferable Iqama is a MUST!
