الوصف الوظيفي He shall report to the Consultant and to the Chief of Medicine. He shall take on call duties according to the requirements of the department. Covering of Consultant clinic who is not available. Has his OPD Clinic and has clinic to cover some clinic diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes, etc.) Has shall provide active support for the Consultant in total patient care and management as agreed by the unit Consultant. He shall initiate the evaluation and treatment of patients and conduct the Medical management of patients within his delineated credentials with the consent of his Consultant or the Consultant On-call. He may modify or change the initial evaluation and treatment of patients began by Junior Staff with regards to the patient’s clinical condition. He shall provide departmental supervision of specific vocational training of Junior Staff in the department as directed by the unit Consultant. He shall directly supervise the work conduct of the Junior Staff in his unit regarding the performance of their clinical duties in the Wards, Emergency Department and in the Outpatient Department. He shall take an active role in the teaching of Residents/Registrars and all the other departmental academic activities including research. He shall assume the responsibility of a Consultant Medicine when required to do so by the Chief of Medicine and authorized by the Medical Director or Credentials Committee. Whenever judged by the Chief of Medicine and/ or the Credentials Committee that he has attained sufficient higher professional training, the Senior Registrar may act up in Consultant capacity when requested or promoted to do so. Performs other duties within the realm of his qualifications and experience. المهارات Computer skills.
