On behalf of one of the largest hospitals in the region(Saudi Arabia) with a mission to provide world-class health care with a world-class health system, we have an opening for a Consultant in Neurology.
Perform duties as Consultant of Neurology. Outpatient clinic evaluating patients with neurologic diseases.
Provides consultation service to Inpatients in his area of expertise (Neurology).
Provides primary care to Inpatients admitted directly to the Neurology service.
Oversees the operation of the Neuro-diagnostic Laboratory (EEG, EMG) including the ongoing training of the technician.
Provides on-call emergency coverage for Neurologic emergencies.
Participate in the monthly Staff Meetings of the Internal Medicine Department and educational conferences.
Develop and maintain professional quality standards, make recommendations for improvement of such standards, contribute, and participate in the hospital-wide quality improvement program.
Participate and contribute to the educational activities in the department e.g. daily morning conferences, weekly grand rounds, clinical meetings, etc

Graduation from an approved medical school.
Must hold current, valid license Saudi or American Board Certificates issued by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or equivalent
MD or State Board Certification; following 3- 5 years of residency in an approved training program as required by each board.
At least two years of practice or clinical fellowship experience.
UK- College membership following 3- 5 years of training in approved programs; at least three years of total training shall have been as a registrar or senior.
At least two years of practice or clinical fellowship experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years clinical experience as a Neurology Consultant in a minimum 200 bed Capacity
Fluent in English language
