Main Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing Communication Center in order to provide 24/7 contact point for Kanoo Shipping and Offshore stakeholders
Ensure all stakeholder’s incoming messages are acknowledged and attended if urgent action is required or appropriately forwarded to the concerned persons as per procedure
Ensure all after office hours requirements from customers are complied where possible by direct attendance or immediate coordination with the concerned staff / parties when necessary
Ensure accurate information is provided on a timely manner as required by stakeholders
Responsible for ensuring effective implementation / compliance of Management Requirements as per Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE Procedures and Policies
Monitor suppliers to ensure Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE / Accounting requirements are always strictly complied
Ensure complaints, procedure and safety related issues are reported to Operations Manager, investigated and required appropriate corrective actions implemented
Ensure Communication Officers opens / updates KPI / Simply5 call file accurately and on a timely basis as per procedure
Supervise and provide guidance to Hub Communication Officers to ensure top performance of responsibilities and achieve customer requirements
Ensure Communication Officers monitor suppliers to ensure Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE / Accounting requirements are always strictly complied
Responsible for ensuring the compliance of Communication Officers to the Cash to Master handling and security procedures
Responsible for ensuring the effective compliance of Communication Officers to the Emergency Response procedures in cases of emergencies
Ensure Offshore Procedure cover functions to Port Operations Supervisors are properly handled and carried out
Ensure Communication Officers are capable of providing accurate and timely assistance to Kanoo Shipping staff in the field / after office hours when necessary
Carry out Communication Officer duties as per schedule / instructions provided by Operations Manager
Ensure documents are properly filed on records as per procedure / instructions from Operations Manager
Carry our regular meetings with Hub Communication Center staff and formulate improvement initiatives / corrective actions to issues encountered and submit to Operations Manager the Minutes of the Meeting on a weekly basis
Acting as Fire Marshal to Shipping - RTN area as per training provided
Responsible for improvement of performance in carrying out responsibilities to achieve customer requirements

Graduate / Bachelors’ Degree in relevant discipline
Thorough knowledge in all kinds of shipping visa formalities and required hotel + transport arrangements + import and offshore vessel operations for all types of vessels
Excellent in Communication
Excellent in Planning
Excellent in Management
Excellent in speaking and writing in English language
Proficient in Office software utilities (Outlook Excel, Word)
