Our client is one of the leading companies in the Events industry and They are now looking for a Projects Director to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Monitors the progress of the planning and execution of each task that has to do with the event
Tries as much as possible to have a clear understanding of what the event is all about from the host i.e. how exactly he/she wants the event to be organized (taste of the client)
Serves as a link between the event and external bodies
Provides recruitment and training/coaching for the organizing committee for the purpose of an event
Development of general event management policies
Supervision of the production process of an event
Make sure that staff and work personnel at the event adhere to the management policies that were put in place to minimize hiccups during the course of the event.
Responsible for organizing a successful execution of an event.
Create reports, budgets and revenue forecast in order to maintain and manage an efficient department.
Conduct ROI analysis to ensure effective allocation of corporate funds and staffing resources to achieve business and sales objectives.
Manage weekly BEO meetings to discuss the upcoming events with other department heads to ensure the proper execution of all events.
Manage all aspects of these events and act as onsite manager to ensure meeting are delivered effectively and professionally.
Promote the mission of the college, and provide leadership and staff support for special college, alumni and community events.

Excellent communication skills

Must always possess good leadership qualities
Must have good organizational, analytical, and coordinating abilities
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Must be creative and able to prioritize tasks in the face of many challenges
BA degree in any related field
A minimum of 10 years working experience in event management/planning/directing.
