Duties include:
An extensive understanding of the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules inclusive of design, procurement, construction, closeout, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
Creating Baseline cost and resource loaded schedules from first principles using Primavera unifier
Reporting on the progress of theses schedules using reporting practices such as Earned Value techniques
Presenting Schedule updates to the management team, and preparing visual presentations of the schedule
Presenting solutions to Schedule slippages to the management team
Assist the wider PMO team in Project Management duties – this could be in the form of preparing visual reports or presentations or chasing actions from the wider stakeholders.
Assist with the completion of Client Requests
Coordinate and liaise with strategic partners to incorporate schedule updates to master schedule.
Auditing schedule received from strategic partners, within the required time frame to avoid any reporting or schedule discrepancies.
Must understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
Help in establishing business cases timelines, taking into consideration various inputs for client, strategic consultants and advisors.
Presenting the schedule in a visually friendly manner and producing necessary diagrams to accommodate the schedule report and updates.
Help in drafting Requests for proposals, specifically the time schedule and the schedule reporting requirements.
Drafting the time (schedule) management plan, discussion and agreeing with the client, the plan to include schedule levels, coding, schedule general accepted standards.
Establish and agree schedule levels and tasks coding and break down.
Attend planned and schedule meetings representing the client with various strategic partners
Establish and agree various reporting stage gates and templates with relevant strategic partner.
Hold and arrange regular schedule updates meetings as required for each project.
Ensure cross functional cooperation and visibility among other departments to ensure alignment on deadline and critical activities.
Run sensitivity analysis for various schedule changes, showing the time and cost implications for various changes.
Ensure the reporting tools integration with ERP system utilised by the client, by working closely with IT department to accommodate any requirements.
Flag any issues or concerns to management to help reducing the probability and impact of any schedule related risks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized and approved program.
At least 10 - 15 years relevant experience in a project role with industrial gases production, oil & gas or related industry
Able to demonstrate significant previous work experience in scheduling and planning
Fluent in Planning Software such as Primavera P6, Primavera Unifier. Microsoft Project, Primavera Risk Analysis
Experience in Planning through Project Lifecycles from Concept-Design-through to construction
Ability to build Schedules from first principles
Strong Communication skills essential
Candidates with experience in Scheduling Oil and Gas, Industrial production, construction projects will be looked on favourably.
Requires basic engineering knowledge in industrial gas production
