JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE Overview of the National Maritime Expansion Holding Company – This holding company will be responsible for growing the maritime manufacturing industry in Saudi Arabia. Specifically building additional shipyards and capabilities across commercial, leisure and defense. In order to facilitate the development of this sector there will be a requirement to build Kingdom-wide enablers, the eco-system and strategies. Overview of the role – Be responsible for supporting the Director in the development of the HR & Training strategy for the Maritime Expansion Strategy project. You must be able to initiate, lead, provide analysis, and conduct presentations related to assigned projects in the development and execution of various human capital solutions for JVs, subsidiaries, and affiliates. You should participate in meetings/discussions relative to matters within your own area of assignment. Job Description Saudi Aramco: Company General Use KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: You will be required to perform the following: Act as a “client relationship rep.” with the holding company JVs, subsidiaries, and affiliates to establish and maintain clear lines of communication between Saudi Aramco and its partners. Assist in the identification of staffing needs and facilitate the development and execution of HR solutions. Assist in the identification and new startup requirements and facilitate the development and execution of HR solutions. Explore opportunities for shared HR services resulting in efficiencies and improved services by leveraging economies of scale and technologies. This will be gauged by both quantitative and qualitative means. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR groups to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Review the effectiveness of HR policies and procedures to identify the most practical approaches. Deliver workshops and forums and coordinate relevant meetings to share lessons learned. Act as a task force member as assigned to solve special problems in your area of expertise. Assess the effectiveness of policies and instructions within your own area of assignment and recommend revisions. Conduct surveys and cost/benefit analysis to support policy reviews or applications of new procedures in determining feasibility of proposals. المهارات You must have the skill and desire to work as a team member and must be able and willing to train young Saudis and new hires. Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations) MCIPD is desirable but not essential Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Personable, good communication skills, analytical, strategic, and a good listener. Experience You should have 5 to 7 years of experience in HR functions, preferably in JV startup support due diligence, staffing, training, change management, as well as human capital program design. Five (5) years of this experience must be as a senior HR professional.
