Responsibilities:
•
Works on unusually complex construction logistic problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.
•
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
•
Works under consultative direction toward predetermining long-range targets.
•
Support construction team in the production of construction phasing and logistics plans.
•
Coordinate with contractors as to site access arrangements, especially in changing situations caused by advancement of infrastructure works.
•
Manage on site space requirements, mostly for short term laydown, stockpile locations and parking.
•
Review contractor logistics plans for sufficient planning especially regarding traffic management, access / egress, site storage, security.
•
Supervise third part contractors who provide security services, batching plants and other services that enable project delivery.
•
Provide safety leadership - champion Parsons Own Zero safety standards on site, especially regarding vehicle movements.
•
Project manage, when required, small packages of enabling works or supervise and report on enabling works done by contractors.
•
Compile / update spreadsheets that track contractor performance and material demands.
Education and Experience
•
Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 15 years experience on complex projects.
