Sales Engineer - Building MaterialsJob Purpose & Scope:To increase project sales through outdoor activity by contacting outdoor customers and negotiating contracts in order to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Obtain and handle payments in accordance with the organization’s established procedure.Main Responsibilities:• Generate inquiries, follow-ups, and booking orders for projects as per the target set by the division.• The accurate completion of monthly management reports covering all activities.• Following up on current leads, opportunities, and key accounts.• Manage clients effectively and create good prospects.• Identify qualified prospects and leads.• Achieve sales targets set by the management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis by activities mentioned below.• Generating sales inquiries on a monthly basis so as to achieve order satisfactory booking strike rate of inquiries quoted every month based on assigned sales target.• Generate business leads for upcoming projects by regular visits on daily basis to key developers/consultants & contractors.• Maintain good rapport with key clients, leading consultants, and contractors. Research market in terms of current jobs in hand, current projects under design, and current projects in the tender stage.• Interact and engage with customers for information/feedback related to competitors’ pricing/products proposed. • Understand and analyze the customer’s needs. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of building material products, market intelligence, industry trends, and competition in the assigned territory.PRODUCTS: FRP: Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic products: Hygienic & Durable Wall Cladding & Ceiling Solutions, is an alternative to traditional building materials such as Ceramic, PVC, Paint, S.S, checker plate, and wood, it goes in any area where the End-user has traffic of people, forklifts, or kids and will require Durability with high Hygienic performance along with a very low cost of maintenance.Industry Type: Supplier / General ContractingBenefits: Commission, Paid Annual leaves with a ticket.Functional Area: Sales / Business Development.

Desired Candidate Profile:• Graduate, Minimum of 2 + years of proven progressive business development, sales, and experience in the building materials• Good Customer Service, Persuasive and interpersonal skills• Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication.• Detail oriented and good reporting skills, budget, and costing skills.• Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
