The role holder is responsible for developing Digital learning strategy and framework as well as providing services to stakeholders. The role holder will carry out the responsibility of added-value measurement of Digital learning deliverables, and the responsibility of ensuring with related units the implementation of Digital learning strategies. The role holder shall carry out job duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Managerial Responsibilities
• Participates in the development and implementation of the Digital Learning plans, in line with the corporate objectives.
• Directs and manages the Digital Learning Section mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
• Interprets and implements change in the Digital Learning Section providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Digital Learning Section. Core Responsibilities Section Planning & Strategy Implementation Ensures that the Sector strategy is cascaded for the Digital Learning Section and develops business plans for the Section to drive the achievement of the desired objectives. Digital learning Management Activities
• Participates in the development of policies, procedures and processes in terms of Digital Learning courses, participants enrolment and etc.
• Ensures implementation of Digital Learning training programs policies, procedures and processes and compliance with it.
• Manages the coordination process with all training departments, People Department and business leaders to identify required Digital Learning courses and participants for training purpose.
• Manages the coordination with Assessment department to receive assessment results and analyze Digital training needs.
• Develops all training departments Digital Learning curriculum, learning designs and methods, and ensure contents layout consistency.
• Support the development of annual budget for Digital Learning training activities and ensures accurate distribution of the budget among relevant sector based on their training needs and assessment.
• Conducts benchmark on all Digital Learning available training courses and best market practices to develop a training catalogue.
• Coordinates with all training department to design and develop Digital training courses and materials.
• Evaluates all Digital Learning training programs on regular basis and analyses the findings to enhance those programs.
• Manages the process of collection participant’s feedback on delivered Digital training and produce reports in coordination with Evaluation team.
• Liaises with relevant units and ensures blended learning and Digital learning strategies are developed and implemented.
• Manages the process of coordinating with Technology/Systems to develop and improve Digital Learning systems, processes and methodology.
• Ensures the adoption of a new trend in terms of Digital- Learning i.e. VR, gamification …etc. Enhancing Digital Training Programs
• Measures effectiveness of digital training programs based on training evaluation methodology. People Management Responsibilities
• Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process.
• Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Digital Learning Section, in line with the business and operational plans.
• Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the Digital Learning Section. Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Knowledge Management and Digital Learning director in order to meet objectives.
