Role responsibilities:
We offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and inspiring Project Director with Masterplanning experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. * Technically excellent with knowledge of regional design standards and best practice; * Demonstrable experience in value engineering, best practice, and innovation in design; * Previous demonstrated and proven experience in managing large scale mixed-use developments; * Management of municipal services projects including bulk water supply and sanitation projects; * Project administration, cash-flow planning, drawing up of project specifications and monthly reporting; * Mentor Senior Design Managers; * Innovative leadership and expertise to shape, improve and drive the technical output and direction to a team of talented Engineers, Designers and Technicians in the design, review and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects specialising in wet and dry utilities; * Excellent communication projecting credibility and integrity; * Demonstrate passion and experience to provide leadership, mentoring, and development of the project team to achieve agreed business and growth objectives; * Demonstrate care about the well being of self and observe all health and safety requirements; * Ability to apply advanced knowledge of Project Management Principles to project delivery; * Develop a technical relationship with peers in the major offices in Zutari to support future workshare * Demonstrated ability to apply Zutari Methodology and associated responsibilities in the delivery of general or small integrated projects; * Apply this knowledge through assisting with the development of schedules and estimations; * Demonstrate an ability to prepare reports or sections of reports; * Assist more senior staff with the analysis of information, and contribute to the production of project-related documentation; * Demonstrate awareness of Project Risk and apply basic Risk Principles; * Ensure that required drawing standards are maintained; * Construction Supervision; and * Coaching and mentoring junior technical staff
Minimum requirements:
* BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering * Minimum 20 years working experience as a Project Director with at least 15 years design experience in municipal services and water environments in the Middle East. * Proficient Microsoft Office skills required; * Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills; * Excellent client relation skills; * Takes initiatives, acts with confidence and works under own direction; and * Makes clear decisions which may involve considered risks
