Job Description SummaryThe GE Internship Program is an investment in young talents where GE trains students who meet the required criteria to perform their internship program in performance testing & diagnostic function for Gas Turbines Engineering. Program duration is 6 to 7 months. The program will develop the general skills of the intern with on the job knowledge and experience.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities

This particular Co-Op opportunity pertains an engineering function in the performance testing organization. A thermal performance engineer executes technical services on turbines and associated power plant equipment. This entails:

Review commercial guarantees, test expectations/requirements, and develop performance test procedures.
Prepare, plan, and execute thermal performance (plus emissions and acoustic) tests to equipment in sites throughout the world.
Analyze data, calculate test results, diagnose and evaluate testing issues and develop corrective actions as needed.
Prepare test reports for internal and external distribution.
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding testing activities, schedules, and technical issues.
Contribute for the continued development and improvement of performance tools/processes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

During the program GE will provide assignments, projects & tasks that is related to his /her major where he/she can develop his/her Leadership Capabilities, communication skills and introduce him/her to the work environment.

Undergrad in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering degree
Program duration is 6 to 7 month (Remotely)
Active listener with good communication skills in English.
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proactive with high level of integrity.
Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction.
A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.
Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis
