The Country Value Team Lead (CVTL) for Oncology (Solid Tumors) is accountable for the achievement of assigned business results in all GCC countries by developing and implementing Janssen´s business strategy for the Oncology portfolio. The CVTL will work in close collaboration with EMEA, ensuring efficient alignment between EMEA and GCC TA strategies. The CVTL is responsible for the TA P&L;, including resource planning and budget allocation. He/She will be accountable for achieving key business metrics (Market share, Patient share, Business Plan target etc.). The CVTL will lead the developing and carrying out the successful launch strategy of new brand/ indications and potential other pipeline products. The CVTL has line management and coaching responsibility for Product Manager/s. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Drive the GCC assigned business results, both short term and long term, by further strengthening cross-functional collaboration and boosting external focus Lead the development and implementation of the business portfolio strategic plan (LRFP) and Business Plan incl. pricing/tendering Is responsible for the therapy area P&L;, including brand budget allocation by making clear choices on next steps and communicating these to the team Lead the GCC cross-functional (CVT) team, ensuring optimal collaboration between all functional areas, like Marketing, Sales, MAF, HEMAR, Regulatory Affairs and CIE/BI/Digital Collaborate with other CVTs partners to develop and deliver overall portfolio success and benchmark performance when its applicable Continuously see opportunities to bring value for patients, customers and other external partners while, Identifies and captures synergies across GCC markets Customize EMEA strategy to specific needs of GCC region Ensures best practice sharing among CVT networks, between TAs in the GCC and within assigned business unit at Emerging Market and EMEA level. Develops a network of external KOLs and key partners to continuously monitor the external environment enabling the identification of opportunities and threads and taking appropriate actions. Ensures customer mapping and key partner engagement plan is in place effectively. Develop internal and external communication strategy. Lead the implementation of digital transformation to ensure value creation for key external partners through omnichannel interactions. Track and reports business performance versus plan, identifies deviations and recommend operational and strategic options for performance improvement. Work in close collaboration with Commercial Operations and Supply Chain to ensure product supply based on accurate forecast planning Work in collaboration with other functions to ensure the commercial team has the proper trainings, product knowledge and needed skills to excel in their daily interactions. Develop business cases to transform ideas into solid growth plans. Drive pre-launch insights and activities across GCC, in alignment with EMEA, and lead cross functional teams to gather market insights and shape strategy. Responsible for monitoring the development of brand campaigns and the implementation of core projects. Ensure the implementation of the segmentation, targeting, channel and omnichannel strategy at an operational level, taking into consideration local market and customer needs. Lead the development and implementation of customer specific, innovative and value-added initiatives to deliver customer needs. Responsible for sharing best practices in terms of processes, deliverables and tactics in order to simplify and maximize value and outcomes. Examine the changes in the customer, consumer and payer needs across the journey, understanding the big picture and identifying key pain points and future opportunities for Janssen Proactively anticipating, gathering and synthesizing information on our targets, competitors and the market from a range of formal and informal sources Challenge and inspire CVT team to uncover and develop fresh, actionable insights to make informed marketing decisions (both strategic and tactical) Accountable for the development of value propositions, across the customer journey, that are data based and move Janssen to close the gap from where stakeholders are today to their desired future experience lead the process of translating strategies into a comprehensive launch plans and identifying resources that will deliver the defined business objectives and growth goals proactively manage all aspects of the portfolio, ensuring relevance to all stakeholders and evolving and expanding when necessary lead the development of business cases, utilizing multiple sources of information, providing thorough evidence of the feasibility and business potential of new initiates, testing them from our competitor’s perspective Effectively Coach, Lead and Develop my team on the importance of evaluating communications (internal and external) and implement learnings to continuously improve with high integrity and to be storytellers who effectively take people on a journey through the right messaging, channel and content, challenging them to focus on delivering a few memorable points Main interactions and reporting: Main interactions: Leading the CVT, cross functional interactions with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, Management Board, external stakeholder Directly leading the Product Manager/s Reporting to the Marketing and Commercial Excellence Director GCC Leadership Behaviors LIVE OUR CREDO Demonstrate and inspire the behaviors that reinforce Our Credo. – CONNECT: Develop deep insights into the needs of our patients, customers, markets and communities by acting as a great teammate and being an inclusive leader. Qualifications Qualifications: Life Sciences or business-related bachelor’s degree. (MBA is desirable). Due to the nature of the role, an Experience in assigned TA will be considered as an advantage. A minimum of 8 years industry/ business experience, within different functional areas, sales, marketing, medical and/or market access. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with proven track record in people leadership, both direct report and cross-functional leadership without authority Fluency in English language is required.
