Executive Sous Chef | Saudi Arabia | New opening Franchise
We are looking for experienced EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF to join the opening team of an International franchise restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The restaurant is planned to open in November 2022 and all training will be conducted in existing restaurant in Dubai.
It will be offering A la Carte menu, business lunches, sushi bar, bar and lounge.
With the staff count of almost 200, we are looking for the strong candidates with previous experience in running big restaurant kitchen operations.
Main duties:
• Full Kitchen operations
• P&L;• Able to work with large volumes and under a lot of pressure
• Excellent delegation skills
• Coaching and Training
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Developing unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
• Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
• Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in a condition that meet the company standards and health code regulations
• Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
• Hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff
• Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
• Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
• Preparing meals and completing prep support as needed
Main skills and qualifications required:
• Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts
• Previous experience of at least 5 years of working in high end, high-volume kitchen operation
• Hands on
• must have excellent knowledge in Latin American and Spanish cuisines
• Being able to manage a big kitchen and high volume of chefs
• Experience from GCC countries will be a bonus
• Fluent English
• Additional languages will be an advantage
• Fast thinker
• Creative
