JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Job Holder is primarily responsible for:
Delivering effective and efficient training analysis, design, development and delivery of training solutions covering Air Traffic Control and Flight Operations, to meet the customer s needs and requirements of the TSI (Technical Studies Institute).
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
The Job is to meet the following criteria:
Degree qualified or a graduate of a Military or Civilian Aerospace Training establishment and will possess the technical qualifications appropriate to their speciality area.
Hold an Air Traffic Controllers Licence issued by an ICAO Contracting State with validated ratings in Aerodrome Control (ICAO 052), Non-Radar Approach Control (ICAO 053) and Radar Approach Control (ICAO 054), or Certificates of Competence issued by a State Authority in the disciplines of Aerodrome Control, Radar Approach Control and Non-Radar Approach Control.
Have proven experience in the development and delivery of Academic and Technical training programmes in a Military or Civilian training environment.
Have extensive practical experience in their speciality.
Have a recognised formal Instructional Techniques qualification.
Have recent proven teaching/instructional experience.
Have a high level of computer literacy and experience in using the full range of MS Office.
Have good knowledge of training methodologies, analysis, design and delivery and a proven ability to perform within a training environment.
Specialty Instructors whose native language is not English shall have a standard of English language as appropriate to their role. The PC shall ensure English language standards are maintained in the staff through training and regular testing, where appropriate. This will either be:
A valid IELTS certificate (gained in the last two 2 years) showing an average band score of 5.0 with no pillar less than 4.0 (gained in the last 2 years).
A CEFR level of B2. If this is demonstrated through the British Council APTIS, it shall be valid for one 1 year only.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work closely with the RSAF to ensure appropriate levels of Cadet discipline are established and maintained.
Maintain the credibility of the company with RSAF by exercising and co-ordinating Quality Assurance.
Recommend, develop and implement procedures, processes and controls within an assigned area to ensure compliance with defined policies.
Support the pursuit of business opportunities to facilitate performance and growth and to ensure the team contributes to achieving the department s business and value plan.
Contribute as required to supporting business development activities.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements and external standards within area(s) of specialism and keep abreast of changes which may impact the business.
Be knowledgeable of Export Control requirements (ITAR).
Working in liaison with the Senior Instructor and deputise if required in his absence.
Ensuring practical training and delivery of training at Simulators are up to TTS standards.
Overseeing the Continual Improvement of the Training facilities and assuring that the simulators are fully operational.
Acting as IQA to assure that IVs and Assessors are carrying out the Cadets assessment in accordance with C&G;standards and guidelines.
