Site Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (PMT).
Saudi Aramco PMT is directly responsible and accountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects assigned to department. PMT is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design, procurement and construction of various sizes, types and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion dollar mega size projects. Some of these mega projects include the Marjan Increment Program, the Crude Oil to Chemicals program, the Gas Compression Program, the Berri & Zuluf Increment and AMIRAL Program.
Project Management Departments manages and executes projects usually from multiple site offices or engineering contractor design offices, geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The PMT Site Superintendent primary role is to be accountable of monitoring all construction activities on site, including Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities, quality and quantity surveying and project controls.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum requirements

Degree in an Engineering discipline or Construction Management.

As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized and approved program.

You will have three (3) years of Project Management Foundation or related experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry or similar process industry.

You will be familiar with International Engineering Codes and Standards.

You will have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

Work experience in GCC, Saudi Arabia or Saudi Aramco is a plus.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Ensure that technical designs, project specifications, relevant standards and drawings are followed correctly on site including design, quality, schedule and budget

Provide technical advice in the planning, coordination and supervision of technical aspects of the project

Solve technical issues, provide site status and information to Supervisor (Project Engineer)

Provide technical submittal reviews

Prepare change orders, and coordinate with Proponent for any technical query and Sample/Mockup approvals

Attend site quality inspection with quality personnel

Follow safety incident reporting guidelines

Strictly adhere to safety plan requirements and engineering Standards developed by Saudi Aramco and international community in relation to Project inspection, Loss prevention

Perform daily progress reporting and site progress supervision

Manage all parts (packages) of a construction project, supervise manpower and other resources on site and ensure that their packages are completed on time

Coordinate with other disciplines for any interface (HSE, Mechanical, and Electrical and Instrumentation)

Ensure that all site activities are in line with approved base line schedule including, but not limited to, logistics, materials requisitions and acquirement of resources

Follow up for work permit, study and manage the project risks.
